Fashion Friday : Ease On Down The Road

Happy Friday, my friends! Today's Fashion Friday theme is something I have a lot of experience with, Road Trips. Since moving away from my sweet family and beloved town of Savannah, I have spent many weekends traveling back and forth to visit, especially during the summer time! Here is the outfit I put together for a casual Road Trip....

Sunnies / Tank / Sandals / Crossbody Bag / Necklace / Maxi Skirt

If there's one thing I've learned throughout all my travel, it's the importance of comfort. If you are bound by uncomfortable clothes, it's going to make for a miserable ride in a car or a plane for that matter. The Husband is hot natured and usually freezes me out in the car, year round. I've been known to keep a blanket in the trunk at all times!
With that being said, I picked a maxi skirt for the main focus of this outfit.

I actually just purchased this skirt from WHBM a few weeks ago when it went on sale. I haven't worn it yet (I'm thinking of getting it hemmed. It's a little long for this short girl!), so styling it for today's post was extra fun!

I paired this trendy skirt with a royal blue tank, a long silver necklace, Tory Burch flat sandals and for a pop of color, a hot pink crossbody...perfect for quick stops and getting in and out of the car with ease. I see this outfit as being very comfortable yet stylish at the same time.
It doesn't get any better than that! Right?
