Weekend Update

Hi Friends! Can you believe Labor Day Weekend has come and gone? Wow...just like that, it was over! We had an action packed weekend and here's the recap via photos {warning: there are a lot of photos in this post}. Enjoy!

Friday night we hit a Braves game with some new friends. It was a great game with a fabulous fireworks show following afterwards. Such a fun night! Here are a few pictures from the evening...

Saturday afternoon, we headed for the North Georgia Mountains and Lake Chatuge for a dear friend's wedding. This was the view from our hotel room. So pretty!

Once Saturday evening rolled around, it was time for the wedding. Below is our Admission Ticket for the 1920's themed wedding and our accessories for the event!
The wedding took place on the lake. Here's a picture of the aisle, looking back towards the Lodge and the reception tent...
Below are a few collages of the wedding. It was such a creative wedding, complete with flame throwers and a reception under the Big Top!
The Wedding Party looked great! The Bride was gorgeous and her birdcage veil was so 1920's!
Her gown and accessories were amazing. I wish I would have snapped a close up.
Oh and check out the door...it featured the wedding party and family.
The flame throwers were awesome! They really put on a show!

Wedding Guests...

With my dear friend, sister of the bride and maid of honor...

I know the next few are repeat pictures but thought I'd share outside of the collage...
With two very sweet girls whom I love dearly!

The Husband and me before the wedding. We waited in the Lodge since it was so hot outside!

My outfit: Dress: fab'rik, Headband: Ulta, Shoes: Michael Kors, Jewelry: Bloomingdales,
Clutch: gifted from The Husband.

Typical self portrait while waiting for the wedding to start!

We had a blast at the wedding! We danced, laughed and toasted the new couple until midnight. Congratulations to Jenne and Eric! The evening was truly spectacular!
Sunday afternoon, the bride's parents hosted a lovely BBQ at their lake house. Everyone was so tired, we didn't snap any pictures. I wore my navy Lilly Dress with low key nautical accessories and my starfish flip flops. We visited the entire afternoon and headed back to the city that evening. We had big plans to lay by the pool on Labor Day but the weather didn't cooperate. Instead, The Husband and I ran some errands, completed a few projects around the house and went shopping for my birthday present...a {much needed} new camera!

After all of that "labor," we decided to treat ourselves to some Mexican for dinner.
And yes, we totally indulged!

Well, that's our weekend. What did you do this weekend? Anything fun?
I'd love to hear!
Cheers to a short week, my friends! :)
