Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Ours was low key and awesome. I'm still amazed at how quickly the weekend flies by and yet the work week drags. Why is that? I may never know.
Anyway, here's a peek at our weekend. Enjoy!
Friday night we grabbed dinner at one of our favorites. Since we were out of town last weekend, we were way overdue for a Mexican fix! I tried the sangria and it was delish. I think sangria gets overlooked sometimes, always standing in the shadow of the margarita but I tell ya, this was some amazing sangria and I won't think twice about ordering it again!
Saturday was errand day. Being out of town over a weekend always throws the next weekend. Anyone else like that? It seems like I have to do double errands. I was out of a ton of stuff so I made a run to Sephora, Ulta, C. Wonder and Banana Republic. BR was having a HUGE sale...40% off all full priced items. I needed work clothes in the worst way and thanks to this sale, I was able to score some serious bargains!
I picked up this little jewel to help with some upcoming travel. I love my ella tote but sometimes, it's too big. I can't believe I actually just said that, but in some cases, it is...
But this beauty should do for day and night.
Oh and it was a good mail day too. You might remember this little piece of heaven from last week...
Well, they finally arrived and OMG, I'm in love! They are perfect and oh-so comfortable!
I'm so excited to wear them. Now if the weather would just cooperate...
It rained all day on Saturday and by the time I was done with all my errands, I was over getting wet. We decided to stay in, order a GF pizza and relaxed on the couch. Probably the best decision we made all week!
Sunday was made up of church, lunch and then working on a few projects to get ready for the work week. Not wanting the weekend to end, we fit in one more movie. We watched Les Miserables and I was taken right back to my early theatre days. Ahhh! Such an amazing film. All I can say is Lincoln must be out of this world. For Les Miserables to not to take home the Oscar just blows my mind. If you haven't seen it, please watch it. It's pure art.
And there you have our weekend! Here's hoping you have a fantastic week.
I'm linking up with LeeAnn for Monday Morning Gossip.
