Weekend Round Up

Oh, Monday, why do you have to come around so quickly? It seems like just yesterday I was wrapping up the work week and hoping on a plane back to ATL. I was in Florida all last week and although the weather was nice, it was tough being away from The Husband. Our weekend was spent relaxing and catching up. We did a bunch of nothing this weekend and here's a glimpse of what nothing looks like, a la instagram...

Saturday we slept in and caught lunch at one of our favorites.
The margarita special was pineapple serrano. It sounded interesting and I just had to try it. I'm glad I did! It was all natural and the sweet pineapple flavors were well balanced with the heat from the serrano pepper.
I think I may try to duplicate this one...

The rest of the afternoon was spent running errands and catching up on things around the house.
Saturday night we had dinner at one of our neighborhood favorites. I tried this wine and it was ah-mazing! The server was nice enough to let me take a picture of the bottle so I could try to find it.
Take notes, my friends, this one is worth tracking down! A well priced Sauvignon Blanc, perfect for patio weather.

I had a delicious berry salad with grilled chicken and a champagne vinaigrette.
It was so good and just enough!

I wore one of my new Bauble Bar hidden baubles. Ten bucks never looked so good!
I love this belted beauty.

Sunday was spent at church and catching up with great friends for lunch, followed by the grocery store and since it was raining, a lot of Wii! It was a nice low key weekend and I'm looking forward to a great week at home, with no travel.

How was your weekend? Here's wishing you a great Monday that's speedy and painless!

I'm linking up with LeeAnn for Monday Morning Gossip.
Hop on over and find out what everyone did this weekend!
