Top Five Travel Essentials

As I started packing for my trip to San Diego next week, I thought about my top five travel musts. Because I travel pretty frequently, I try to have all the comforts of home and all the things I need to make every trip a great one. There's nothing worst than being on the road and needing something you neglected to pack. This can almost trigger an anxiety attack for me! Can you tell I've learned the hard way? So, without further adieu, here's my list...

Sometimes fooling with an umbrella just isn't an option. In those cases, I reach for my trusty raincoat. I just got this raincoat (different than one featured above) while in Maine at L.L. Bean and I'm in love! It's the perfect length and I love the hoodie. I just wish I didn't have to use it so much. We've had quite a bit of rain here in GA this summer and to tell ya the truth, I'm over it. But, thankfully, I have a really great raincoat to keep me dry!

Flats are a MUST for me. Gone are the days of hustling through the airport wearing heels. I admire the women that do it but part of me just wants to say..."come on girl, you aren't fooling anyone...I know your feet are killing you!" That being said, how cute are these foldable flats? I first heard of these from my best blog friend Nicole and had to check them out for myself. There's a full blown review coming soon so stay tuned!

Ok, I know I've mentioned it more than once before but this Ella Tote has saved my life on more than one occasion. It's huge and perfect as a carry-on, as well as a handbag when you reach your final destination. Mine is so beat up, I really should get a new one but I think I'll wait until this one is absolutely spent.

On my last business trip, I was introduced to this little jewel and knew I had to have it. How many times have you needed to charge your phone and there's no outlet to be found? Problem solved! This sweet accessory is good for three iphone recharges when it's at full charging capacity. Awesome, right?

Lastly, a scarf is always good to have...even in the summer time. You never know when you'll need it for warmth or a little color around your face. I always pack at least one!

There you have my travel essentials. What else would you add to this list?
Happy Friday Eve, Dolls!
