Things I'd Like to Try This Holiday Season :: Table Scapes

Hi Friends! I hope you all survived Thanksgiving! Ours was just lovely. We spent four beautiful days with my family in Savannah, soaking up every moment of no plans and no schedule. It was amazing. No pressure, no stress and very little computer time. I can't believe it went by so fast. But, man oh man is it hard to get back into the swing of things after a holiday filled with such goodness.

So here we are in the middle of the holiday season and I couldn't be more excited! You may remember a few weeks ago when I brought you a new series titled: Things I'd Like to Try This Holiday Season. Here's a glimpse of yet another thing I'd like to try, a beautiful Christmas table scape.

I adore a pretty table any time of year but especially at Christmas. A table scape really sets the tone for the meal, event, etc. I'm still pulling out all my Christmas decorations and probably will continue to decorate through the weekend. In the meantime, I'm scouring the web for new ideas and inspiration. Here are a few tables that have my festive wheels turning...

I love the simplicity of this table scape. Mercury glass dresses up anything and it's so beautiful. Add a few candles and some greenery and you've got a beautiful table. Done and done!

I love the use of ordinary Christmas items for this table scape. It's pretty, fun and classic all at the same time.
Seems easy too!

Talk about an economic table scape and this one takes the cake. I love a touch of nature at the dining room table. This would be a fun project to do with kids...get them to help you find the pinecones and paint them. Sounds fun to me!

If you have the budget for fresh flowers, I say go for it. I love how clean and fresh this table scape looks. It's dressy yet not over the top. So pretty!

I'm loving the dressiness of this table as well. It's a great combination of gold and greenery. Using leftover or extra Christmas ornaments is an excellent way to take your table up a notch. This arrangement is perfect in my book!

What are the key elements of your table scape? Natural touches? Dressy ornaments?
I can't wait to see how mine turns out!
Have a great Tuesday, friends!
