Hi Friends! Life has been a little crazy lately and my blog time has decreased a bit. I'm sorry for that, I truly am. However, I'm hoping things will settle down a bit once April rolls around. March is going to be busy, busy. Anyway, I thought I'd pop in to share a few updates from our weekend. My parents were in town to celebrate my Mom's birthday and we had the most delightful time eating and shopping our way through Atlanta. Here are a few snapshots of our time together...

Saturday night was Mom's birthday dinner. She chose our favorite...The Optimist, one of Atlanta's top restaurants and Esquire Magazine's Restaurant of the Year 2012.

// With the birthday girl!

// My sweet parents! Aren't they so cute?

// My darling husband that endured quite the photoshoot. Sorry, Honey!

// The bar at The Optimist

// The guys...

// After church on Sunday, we grabbed lunch at another fave ATL spot, Yeah! Burger This is a hamburger at it's best, my friends. Grass-fed beef, organic toppings and a gluten free bun. You better believe I ate the whole thing!

// After lunch, a little shopping. I almost purchased this but after carrying it around Sephora for an hour, I decided to hold out for the blowdryer. Seems more practical...

// Then it was time for the Oscars. This little guy barely made it to the end. Sleepy puppy!

// My mom made the most delicious organic breakfast bars. We are still enjoying them. Thanks, Mom! Hoping to share the recipe with y'all soon!

There you have our weekend. Of course it went by entirely too fast. My parents are back home and things are a little quiet around here but that's ok, we'll see them again very soon. How is  your week going? Only a few more days 'til the weekend!

  1. Sounds so fun! Parents visiting is the best :) I'm holding out for that blowdryer seems literally incredible and completely worth it!!

  2. I don't know how old your parents are but I swear your mom could be your sister. They both look great! Looked like a fun weekend.

  3. Looks like a lovely weekend and I hope your mom had an enjoyable birthday!

Hi there and thanks for stopping by! I love hearing from you!
